[fix] Corrections made to French and Italian localizations.

[chg] Some minor interface changes.

[chg] Item types (networks, displays, workstations) have been moved to the map preferences dialog window. As such, the menu items for the lists have been removed.

version 1.3
May 13, 2008
====================================================
<chg> NetMap is now compiled as a universal binary application for Macintosh systems.

<chg> Hard returns are now allowed in the item note field.

<chg> Deleting links between network items is now more intuitive. Links can be selected by clicking on them and deleted with the delete key.

<chg> Upgrades in the software panel are now displayed in a separate box.

<new> A new field has been added into the network properties to accommodate the MAC address of a NetMap device.

<new> The state of several menu items (e.g., grid, snap-to-grid, view links, etc.) are now saved with each NetMap file.

<new> The map preferences window now allows for the selection of a background image to help in organizing network layouts. This can be used to show building layouts or the like in order to convey the physical location of network items more easily.

<new> The menu option "Print Map Image" allows for the printing of the NetMap network image only.

<new> The statistics panel now has a chart display to graphically display one of three statistics for the current map file. Available options include storage use/capacity, types of software, and types of systems.

<new> The software panel now has additional fields to store a software manufacturer's information.

<new> Software items can now have site licenses or an unlimited number of users. Software with an unlimited number of users shows up under the software list of all users.

<fix> A number of minor bug squashes and display issues.

<fix> Corrected some localization errors (thanks again to our European users!).

version 1.2
July 19, 2006
====================================================
<fix> Accented characters saved in NetMap files now display properly after re-opening the file.

<fix> Print range set in the print dialog box is now respected.

<fix> Horizontal grid lines now extend all the way to the bottom of the map.

<fix> If there is an open, changed document, drag-and-drop to the application or dock icon now asks to save.

<chg> Double-clicking on a NetMap item is now less responsive to help minimize accidental jumps to the message tab.

<chg> Sorting by IP address in the hardware tab now sorts numerically instead of by string (e.g., "22" now comes before "220").

<new> Added a "Units" preference item to allow grid and map size designation as either inches or centimeters.

<new> Added a snap to grid option to help arrange layouts (accessible under the "Map" menu).

<new> Text-based item properties (e.g., name, serial number, IP address) are now editable in the hardware list to allow for quick editing of multiple NetMap items. Click in a cell to edit.

<new> Columns in the hardware list are now user-resizable.

<new> The menu item "Node Grouping" allows for child items to be moved along when you move a parent item (e.g., moving a arrangement of workstations when you move the hub they are connected to).

<new> Added French and Italian localization to the application. Thanks to AtlanticMac (http://atlanticmac.free.fr/) and Joram Marino (http://www.joram.it)!

version 1.1
January 29, 2006
====================================================
<fix> Added additional error trapping for linked files. NetMap 1.0 would crash when trying to select linked files that it couldn't find. It now presents a message dialog indicating the problem.

<fix> In version 1.0, link items that had been set would not open the linked file until another item was selected and the link item reselected. This has been fixed.

<chg> Paths to linked files are now stored as relative paths. NetMap is now a lot better at finding linked files that have been moved within the file hierarchy. To address this feature, linked files must now be selected by using the "browse" button and cannot be typed into the file name field.

<fix> Icons set for netmap items now retain their icon after selecting another tab of the properties area.

<fix> Some visual tweaks in the "statistics" tab.

<chg> Saved files now included the file extension "nmp". This was added to maintain compatibility with the Windows version.

<chg> Dialog box added for creating new documents or opening files in order to maintain compatibility with the Windows version.
